I crocheted a simple little cover for my tablet computer. The front is lime green, the back is tangerine, and the flap, edging and buttons are lemon. I didn't follow any pattern - I just did single crochet all the way till the pieces were large enough to cover the tablet, then crocheted them together.



With the yarn being so closely crocheted, the cover is lovely and thick and should protect the screen of my tablet when it's in my bag. It's a snug fit too, so it just slips on nicely with no fear of the tablet being loose inside.

Great cover Kell!

Just started work on my own afghan. Did a practice square to develop the pattern and I'm quite happy with how it looks. This is the pattern I'm going with, although it'll be in white, light grey and dark grey, rather than white, pink and blue - LOL! I'm using a lovely aran wool/acrylic mix - the balls are MASSIVE (400g each!). So, tonight I'm working on a bunch of white centre circles. I need to pick up the light grey tomorrow night on my way to work for the next section, then the dark grey wool will connect everything together.

Anyway, this is roughly how the squares will look:

I'm really looking forward to seeing it grow - I did 16 of the white rounds last night while I was watching the telly. I would have done more, but I was very tired and went to bed about 2 hours earlier than I usually do! With it being such a simple pattern, it'll be easy to work up the squares while watching telly or a film.
