Hello from a newbie

Post by claire81 »

Hello I'm Claire from South Wales, I stumbled upon this great forum by accident, I have been working on a large cross stitch of a scene in Paris and I have been getting a pain in my left shoulder, so I googled it and found an old thread in this forum relating to repetitive strain injuries! So at the moment I am forced to take a break from stitching so decided to join and talk about it instead. I look forward to showing you some of my work when I get used to the forum Xx

 Hello Claire and welcome to the forum from South Carolina. I hope your shoulder gets better soon and that you will be able to start stitching again. But one good thing was the result of the soreness. You found us! Besides your Paris Scene (which I am eager to see) what types of projects do you work on?

Hello to you both thank you for the welcome.

Carole, I work on all sorts of things what ever takes my fancy although I do like animals. I will post a few of my completed ones shortly. On a different subject my brother moved to America about ten years ago and lived in North Carolina, he now lives in Arlington :)

Hello and welcome! I think most of us suffer from some aches and pains occassionally when we're working on a project and don't want to put it down. Hope your shoulder feels better soon!

Hi Claire, welcome from Newcastle in Australia. Sorry about your shoulder and I hope it doesn't keep you away from stitching for too long.

Hi Claire, lovely to have you along. Its a great idea to oggle all the lovely stitching on here when ones body decides its had enough of stitching. Hope your shoulder settles soon and lets you finish that gorgeous piece.

Abouts in South Wales are you? I have a pen friend in Shotton, Deeside.
