Gone Fishing my first HAED

Hi well I did it at last and not with the one I thought I would with, I have joined the HAED club(gulp). This one is for my brother's 60th birthday in June next year and even though it's a mini I am not sure I will get it finished in time.The reason I started this now is my brother came to see me and my DH and I said to him that I was thinking of doing a cross stitch for him but didn't think he would want one. H e then said if it had anything to do with his life time passion ie fishing he would love it, so hear I am diving head first into the Haed club and so far loving it even though there is lots of confetti.

Great start. That is a wonderful chart. I would have done that for my DH if he were still here as he loved his fishing. I think you have made a great start. I am really going to enjoy watching your progress.

Just love that cabin in its forest nook. A lovely one to do for your brother on his special birthday.

Yay!!! I see you started yours and making great progress. I'm still waiting for the postman to deliver my Santa chart, then I need to fight the crowds at Joann's this weekend to get some floss on sale!

Congratulations on starting your first HAED! 400 ish stitches a day between now and the end of May will see you finished - but even if you don't make it *exactly* in time for your brother's birthday, he will love it whenever you give it to him!
