I have come across some charts recently that suggest buying a fat quater of fabric. Now logic tells me this is a measurement, but I havent got a clue what size. Can anyone help?
I have been to a couple of site that sell fabric, and they all seem to have set widths and then you can choose the lentgh of fabric in half metre segments. Is this the only way you can buy fabrics?
Quilters use the term Fat Quarters for small "left-over" pieces of quilt material. As stated previously, the pieces are usually approximately the same size.
