It is so fun to see our children taking an interest in things we can do together. Congrats with your daughters, mine showed an interest a few years back but now she just wants me to stitch for her.

My 3 year old son wants to help me so much. I have thought about getting him a plastic needle and plastic canvas to work on in a year or two. That's cool that they are so interested in being like you! Can't wait to see their work!!

:applesauce: :applesauce: Beautiful stitching. Wonderfully neat and even. Don't know that I could have done anything nearly that well at those ages. ( pleased when I do it now!)

It took around 4 hours to get the neat stitches with a few strops thrown in for good measure lol (the kids not me haha) but we got there in the end

Fabulous work! It's so fun teaching kids how to stitch. I taught my BFF's daughter/my "niece" how to stitch and she's getting really good at it. She's just turned 10, but she was 9 when I taught her. We went straight for the 14 ct aida, needle and floss. But I'm going to teach her brother on plastic canvas with yarn.
