Hmm, I've always been able to find big enough 18 ct aida at my local Michael's craft store. Do you have one? They come in rolls there, so there aren't any folds. Sorry I can't be more help- everywhere else I've order from online folds the fabric.

Hobby Lobby also has very large rolls of Aida and they've always had 18ct in stock when I've been there. The Hobby Lobby where I live has a bigger fabric selection than the Michaels does, though that may not be the case elsewhere.

Do you have a local needlework store? Any LNS worth its salt can certainly provide what you need.

If you can only get it folded, don't worry! It's easy to get the crease(s) out by ironing the fabric under a damp cloth, with a warm iron setting.
Yeah, I hate ironing too!
