There is a slight difference, and not as much as in the picture. That really doesn't matter, unless you prefer it to look more like the actual picture. If so, you can always try to find a shade or two darker than what you are currently using for the border. If you post the colors here, I'm sure one of us may be able to help you figure out a darker shade that could be used

I see the difference in the colors and I like how subtle the difference but as Karen said you can always go for a shade or to darker if you would prefer it.

I like the color myself just wanted to be sure you could tell a difference. Elementary and I talked and think once more is stitched it will be more obvious. thanks for the input guys!! DH says I don't trust him...lol but you guys are he pros and he has to be nice....lol

Looks wonderful. Your stitching on the linen looks perfect to me. Are you sure this is your first time stitching on linen?

Okay soo I goto the chart and did not have my floss available so I went ahead and purchÃ© alla the floss foro tris project I only had a few doubles but 3772is one. AND apparently thre is a auge difference in my lot numbers. So which would you choose for santas cheeks i am leaning towards the pinker one...what do you guys say..

I am leaning toward the pinker one. The other looks like it might blend in too much with his skin (but it's hard to tell from photos).

That's really a big difference in colors; it's hard to believe they are the same number.
