After a very long time, I am back! I missed all the wonderful people on the boards, but life just got so stressful and busy that I had to cut something.

I have barely stitched since then. This project is on the side and I am working on an alphabet that iI need to finish soon and have no motivation. Hoping you can all help! I will post a picture of that one soonish.

This past weekend, I spilled coffee on the Mickey and Minnie chart that I got on my honeymoon. Luckily, it isn't totally ruined, but there are some places that are really hard to see. I cried when I realized what I did.

But hopefully I can find the fun in stitching again and I know you all will help because of your wonderful work!

Welcome back! We will do our best to motivate you to keep on stitching....even when life gets busy it can be good therapy! I'm so sorry about the coffee spill and hope you can still manage to see the chart through the stain. Better the chart than the project like I have ALMOST done with my coffee on more than one occassion

Welcome back! Life can get in the way of hobbies and pastimes, but often I find that if I can get in a small amount of stitching time (me time) it helps to relieve the stress. Gives me a chance to focus on something non stressful for a little while. We are here to encourage and motivate you as much as you want.

Maybe the parts that are hard to read you will be able to decipher by looking at the surrounding areas and by looking at the picture. And like someone else said, at least it wasn't on the design. Many, many years ago I took my son to a skate night for his elementary school and as usual I brought a project with me. A little girl knocked over my soda and it splashed on my fabric. I was not happy, but it did come out with water. Aarghhh!

As for the stitchy bug, I hope he returns in full force soon.

I'm back after a long hiatus. Thanks to my awesome mom, I have the picture of the framed project I made for my brother's wedding!

After my longest hiatus of stitching, I am trying to get back to it. Life and work got SO busy.

I went to find my Mickey and Minnie project "Puppy Love" and something spilled on the pattern and it is ruined. I am so sad and it doesn't look like Disney sells it anymore or I would ask for a replacement. I am a little devastated. I bought it on our honeymoon.

I think I am going to start the starry night w/ Tardis from Skitzzzzz, which means griding it out.

I'd still contact them to see if you can get a replacement pattern. It doesn't hurt to ask.

I know it doesn't help now, but this is a good argument for making a working copy before you start so you can keep the original in a safe place.
