So pleased it went well for you Mabel and people were appreciative of your help and talents. Love the stash too. Lots of interesting stuff toplay with. The piece about the threads for your stashmas sound really exciting - I going to have problems waiting until 1 Dec - might give it to DD to look after!. 
Its interesting your comments about Sewitall as I will be seeing the "boys" at the Show on Friday and hopefully getting some 25 ct Lugana in colours I want. I too dislike their coloured fabrics although have used them in the past and the design does stay on and doesn't lose colour or run when washed - still prefer hand dyes though.
