Hi from Long Island NY. I have been an avid stitcher for about 20 years, self taught. My Mom did beautiful work, the back being almost as good as the front lol. She said she didn't have the patients to teach me so I had to teach myself. Currently I have way too many WIPs . I am working on a large map of Ireland 225w/268h. It's in memory of my Dad. My next piece will be a Silver Lining Peace rose in memory of my Mom. Sorry that sounds so depressing but working on the map is very cathartic for me. I look forward to getting to know everyone, I'm never too old to learn something new.

Love the idea of then stitching the Silver Lining Peace rose which is a gorgeous project. I have seen it stitched by a friend down in Melbourne and it is well worth the work put into it.
