Sewing for pleasure and hobbycraft show

Post by Nimble stitch »

I'm so excited as this This week I have a long very well deserved break from work and on Friday I'm going with my friend to the sewing for pleasure and hobbycraft show in the NEC Birmingham (England). Due to my having two hip replacements I've not been able to go for about four years but as I'm now up and running fully fit I can't wait. Do you think I can justify catching up on four years stash in one day ?

By way if any other members are going let me know if time for a quick coffee

Why yes I do think you should make up for 4 years of not being able to go.. so long as your bank account can handle it

Seems reasonable to me also. My sister had both hips replaced about 4 years ago (about 6 months apart) and I have been amazed how she moves about now. It truly is a miracle of modern medicine!
Wish I could be there too! Another reason someone needs to invent the "transporter" of Star Trek!

Will do !! Although it will never complete with Harrogate. To explain Kerris and I met about 18 Years ago in Wales when booking tickets to the sewing for pleasure show which we were both going on our own so we paired up. To cut a long story short the show finished early due to snow and we ended up in an auditorium for hours waiting for our coach to be dug out!!
