While I was back in the sewing room I finished this bag as well. I love the colors on this.

So, working on this last bag I am so excited.......
1) last bag to get finished
2)I have plenty of time to make this up
3) I don't normally work with these color combos and I am really liking them!!!!!

Well I had to set this to the side for a bit as I had run out of the color I am using for the background. It is a satin and I used it to get rid of them. I am not a fan. So when I ran out I did not want to buy a whole new skein when I needed only 20 inches to finish it off. So I got on my forum for my Stitching group and asked if anyone had this color and if they would let me have a 20 inch piece. :whoop: One member did have it but she was out of town for a couple days. That was ok I had to shampoo the carpets and stitch up an afghan for a present so I did that but still the thread was not here so I thought well how about doing the 2 small side motifs. And here are the results the pictures are rubbish but you can get the idea.

The thread has now arrived and I have finished the background so all that is left is the 1 word at he bottom and I will be completed. And with time to spare........ :hot: I was getting a tad worried I would not be done. All the other bags are cleane and sprayed with a stain protector and read for the wrapping.

:applesauce: :applesauce: so many bags! But such lucky nieces and nephews you have to get such great gifts! Are you feeling like you don't want to see a bag for a long time? Or have you enjoyed stitching them so much you are ready to go into production? They most certainly are beautiful enough :whoop:

They were fun to do but I think I am ready for a change. Ready to get back to my other WIP's and get on with some new projects I am excited to start. I am not sick of them and I will make more just not right away.
