I received a much anticipated package from Allyn yesterday afternoon. I must control an extremely powerful need to buy more materials and thread. Thank you Allyn for making my day a little more happy.

Good day at the mailbox yesterday! I got a lovely package from Allyn :tizzy: THANK YOU, sir!

And these beauties arrived:Image Now I'm waiting eagerly for my fabric from Polstitches to make it over the pond!

For those of you who like Luna - the green in the pumpkin patch looks like it's entire sparkly thread! :tizzy:

Got some new goodies in the mail!
Image

Two Bent Creek designs that I love!
And Karen4bells generously sent me the adorable Cardinal she stitched up along with Pumpkin Stew that originally came from Debby aka fcc! Thank you both! (I've started them both)
I went on a road trip at the end of July-early August to South Dakota and Wyoming to visit 3 national monuments! I was beyond thrilled to find these cross stitch kits at each of the monument gift shops!!! I can't wait to visit more monuments and collect as many as I can. When I get enough, maybe ill make a quilt :)

This week I'm expecting another order from 123Stitch..... some hoop tape, buttons for Pumpkin Stew and the JCS Halloween issue! :whoop:

Well not exactly delivered but I did find this at a yard sale.

All this for $20. That's 2 11x11 q-snaps, one 14x14, and over 200 bobbins of DMC. :> *falls down*

I recently got a very lovely gift from our forum's very own Richardandtracy. While it's not a stitchy item, it simply must be shared here!

Image

I have always loved using fountain pens over regular ballpoint pens, and this has to be the prettiest one I've ever owned. Thank you Richard for the pen!

Also in the mail within the last few days (all non stitchy items) have been $50 in gift cards earned from some online rewards programs I do, a couple of full sized bottles of vitamins/supplements that I got for free, just for agreeing to review them after I've tried them, and a tub of hair bleach so I can attempt to highlight my own hair - also free since I used a giftcard from last months rewards. Gotta love those freebies!

It's been a while since I posted in here, but here are my acquisitions for the week:

Watercolours from Ebay (13 skeins for the price of one), my usual monthlies from Jodyri Designs plus a few extras :) and silks from Mo (which cost a ridiculous $1.50 a skein and no that is not a typo!)

Oh all kinds of lovely goodies, and I love that pen something i kind of collect off and on, haven't used a fountain pen in years, always like writing with them.

Finally got something delivered, haven't been ordering for quite a while but couldn't resist these from Purple Patch, so glad she is back.

Some of the stuff I bought recently. I am going to combine the 2 Glendon Place patterns into a single project. I think they will go together well.

I just got a bunch of things...

First off is my BINGO winnings from Debby (fccs):

This awesome owl card (I LOVE owls):

This cue booklet of snowmen designs (Rose, I thought of you):
Image

This awesome piece of crystal lugana (which is super difficult to photograph), I can already see some of those snowmen designs on it:
Image

And my favorite, Fleur de Lys Christmas tree chart:
Image

I love love LOVE everything she sent over. I knew we had similar tastes! :D

I also received come charts from etsy that I purchased, each were $3 or less:
Image

anddddd the Leisure Arts Back-stitch alphabet leaflet #407 (I had found #705 (More Backstitch Alphabets) at my mom's house, so I clearly needed the first set too):
Image

I also got a piece of Crafty Kitten fabric in, but it's also a crystal and realllly hard to photograph. Clearly I was busy online....
