Flower Fairies!

Hello hello! I've not been on here for a long time. Been stupidly busy working extra hours in the evenings and weekends, studying also. Did a Chinese exam which was hard (still waiting for those results). Did however manage to finish off this little baby. Took a while as I only had time to do little bits every now and then. Very pleased with it!

Thank you everybody!! I enjoyed doing this one- quite fiddly though, and I didn't really enjoy working with those shiny metallic threads- horrible!! They break so easily! First time I've ever used them! Shame this photo is a bit blurry, the perils of using a phone camera! I love the flower fairies- have done since I was a little wee nipper, so my mom sent me this pack a couple of years ago.
Don't you think that the girl- the geranium fairy,looks like she has a beard?? Maybe I'm the only one who thought that!?
Now I'm working on a Chinese doll girl. Very pretty one with lots of reds! Pictures will come at some point as soon as I remember to load them from phone to computer...

Now that you mention it, she does appear to have a bit of a five o'clock shadow.

She really does! I followed the plan- I think I should have just changed it to a slightly lighter colour!!

It contrasts nicely to the spotless legs on the chap though!

I know you feel so wonderful having a finish one after it has taken you a long time to have it done. Reality always gets in the way.. work to do first, chores to do first... wishing we have more stitching time, right?

A really beautiful finish. Love the Flower Fairies although not stitched one of them yet - I did however include panels of them in quilts for a couple of grand daughters.
