Green is my favorite color (especially spring green), but I really like all colors
Pearle cottons for hardanger (any size really, building up stash :) )
Overdyed threads (color doesn't matter, just want to build up my stash some)
Silks!!!! (I know these are expensive, so they are certainly not necessary, but I had to include them as a like :) )
Neat tools (scissors, fobs, needle minders, etc)
Size 26 or 24 needles
Linens and evenweaves (count and color don't matter, although no highly variegated please)
Charts (I like smalls and bigger stuff, and I like things that are some where in the middle of super traditional and super modern)
Fabric for finishing (like quilting cotton; I like more abstract designs)
Finishing items (buttons, trim, etc)
If they are easy for you to get, I would love to try Anchor threads (most especially Anchor black)

Dislikes/do not want:
DMC (I have a full set and then some)
Size 28 needles (too small for my hands)
Aida (I only use it for very specific projects)
Primitive stuff
Religious stuff

I'm on the lookout for basic building-block sort of goodies. One can never have enough bits with which to experiment, whether its threads of different kinds and weights, or small offcuts of fabric. That I particular enjoy hardanger and I'm branching out into surface embroidery and tapestry weaving might be helpful.

:king: Likes
interesting threads of almost any kind: stranded plain or variegated, pearls, Sulky 12s...
interesting beads (my hardanger is threatening to take a beady turn)
most things Celtic

:ribbit: Not keen on
the colour pink (though dusty rose is excellent!)
twee-ness (kittens with bows is not my particular thing)
overtly religious patterns

 Don't need cuz I have too much already
22ct hardanger or Oslo fabric!

Fabric: Evenweaves and linens (or silk gauze? I know, too pricey for stashmas, but it was worth mentioning) - the only evenweave I've stitched on is 28 count Monaco, so I would love even your teeny tiny scraps (even just 2 inches is enough to get a feel for it) of any other evenweaves. I have loads of 32 count MCG linen, but would love to try any others. I stitch a lot of ornaments, so even small scraps (I sew extra quilting cotton onto all 4 sides to get scraps to fit in my hoop) will be put to good use. Colors suited for ornaments such as icey blues, neutral greys, dark red/maroon, or tans/beiges/dark creams are always a bonus) I especially like high count fabrics and still have the eyesight to work on it with ease :D

Thread: I've never used anything except DMC to stitch with, and would love to try hand dyes, overdyes, and silks. I used to be an indie wool yarn dyer, so I'm especially interested in anything that is small batch, artist made rather than factory made. Again even leftovers from your projects (as long as they're marked so I know where to get more if I fall in love!) would be put to use.

Misc: I love tools and gadgets. The stranger the better. If you know of some weird stitchy accessory, or use something that's not typically a stitchy tool, you can bet I'll love it. I generally like to stitch with size 28 petites, though I do need to add some non-DMC brand size 26s to my stash eventually. I don't use anything bigger as I think 18 count aida is HUGE. Odds and ends for finishing Christmas ornaments. Short piece of cute ribbons to make hangers, cording, ribbon, or trim, interesting buttons, etc.

Patterns: I have enough to last a lifetime.. but I still collect. I like quirky, clever designs, elegant items, LHN style patterns. I'm currently obsessing however over Northern Expressions Shades of Gold

Needs: Things here are things I'm going to buy sooner or later, more likely later.. so I figured I'd mention them. Just the snaps for using with Qsnaps - I figured out how to make my own frames in whatever sizes I need (look out for a post on that soon once I take some photos!). I could really use a pair of super pointy scissors with curved tips. Mine are an ancient thrift store pair of cuticle scissors that are finally demanding retirement. A trolley needle (the kind you wear on your thumb) fascinates me. Chocolate. Sanity.

Colors: I like them all - but jewel tones and deep rich colors are my thing. Even colors I normally dislike (pastels) can be made interesting paired with a bold rich color.

Dislikes or not interesteds:
Aida
DMC Floss - I have a full set
Anything religious - unless it's relating to FSM or Christmas carols
Anything too twee - licensed characters or kittens with bows as Serinde put it.
Anything where pastels dominate
