My poor Ellie

Well, two weeks ago we were at the emergency vet at 6:30 when Ellie was in severe pain in the morning. It turned out to be degeneration in three discs in her neck. Then last Thursday she and Lila went charging across the yard at something and then Ellie came limping back. After x-rays on Saturday the doctor said she has injured the ligament in her back leg or the miniscus. We've got her on anti-inflamatories and restricking her running around. She's not a happy puppy being restricted and Lila isn't happy to not have her playmate at full capacity. Lila was actually chewing on Ellie's leash when I was trying to walk her around the backyard while keeping her restricted.

Animals and kids. Heart breaking to see them ill. Especially when they cant tell you what's wrong. And dogs seem to take it in stride. Bless em. Give her ((((HUGS))))))) from me.

Poor Ellie, it is awful to see them suffer.

Ellie says "Woof" to everyone and sends lots of snuggles back.

She's been seeming to put a bit more weight on the leg so hopefully the anti-inflamatories are working. She's not a happy puppy not being about to sit outback and survey her domain. I haven't been able to convince her that the front yard is just as exciting, just let area to get up speed in.

Poor baby! Hope she is feeling better soon!! Nothing worse when your baby is not feeling good! My cocker spaniel has had some issues in her little life--but she has always pulled through them for me!
