As some of you know I have a year of special birthdays anniversaries ahead in 2016. Thankfully the 25th anniversary one is done - the Chatelaine, Rose Lights. That is for Jan 5th 2016. on Jan 6th GS is 18 so I am doing this for him
It should be fun to stitch. The fabric is 16 ct aida Brown Cloud from Sew It All (Aus) which has been in my stash for some years now.
Spent the afternoon gridding it and getting all the cottons (all DMC) and now its ready to go - but tomorrow. I need to go get the air con on and cool down somewhat.
Incidentally, if I do all the pieces I am planning on I will have stitched 133,325 plus 6 coasters using Mabel's lovely Floral Lace squares.
Thanks for looking.

Here is a very small start on this colourful one. I have decided to do the b/s as each owl is finished.
I had some problems early on with counting - or rather miscounting - and its back again. My fault for wanting to start it after a night of 3 big thunderstorms which came through here. The last one was a doozey thunder overhead, torrential downpour with hail to start with. I was pleased to wake around 6.30 and on looking out the back apart from being still wet all was ok. Just us humans too tired to do too much mental work .

Oh he is looking adorable!!!!!!! Sorry that the decided to come see you. Mine is still setting on my work last night I torn out as much as I stitched. So frustrating.
If you are looking for some one to help change you, look in the mirror
So cute already!! Glad that you had no damage from the storms, though it does sound like Mr. enjoyed the downpour. Hope he is gone for a good long while now. Can't wait to see more of this one!

Very cute start and do you mean you've completed over 100K pieces?????

Tiffany, I made a list of the 7 different pieces I hope to get done by May 2016 and they total 133,325 stitches - if I get them all done. Sorry for the confusion..

Phew... I was concerned for you taking all that on! That's a lot of stitches... I'd be afraid to count them up.
