Here is todays update...
It's coming along. I've completed the backstitch on the picture in the middle and am now working on the border pattern.

Thank you Mags, I think the border makes it more appealing and less 'flat' looking.
Well, I hope it does!!!

As for getting the colors right...what kind of camera do you have? I may be able to help....
I have the Konica Minolta Dimage z5.

Thank you. :D
I finished it last night, but no picture until this afternoon as the computer has a problem on it, to do with the anti virus and I'm struggling to sort it out.

Anyhow, will post one when I get back from the meeting and then I'll have to get cracking on the silly computer ... :ratherbe:
Any bets I'll end up taking the whole thing back to the start ...

*shudders at the thought of computer problems*

It's a lovely design, TBear, like those old Delft tiles, and it's come out very well -- can't wait to see what the next project is going to be... :-)

Oh, Mabel you have just reminded me of my visit to Delft way back when. Had a little holiday years ago with my Grandma to visit the tulip fields, and I came back with a couple of Delft clogs (very small ones) and a vase for my mum. Loved the blue and white pottery.

It is indeed meant to be a delft tile. :D It was one of a set of four in a magazine, so I just chose the one I liked best, although they were all nice.
I had a pair of miniture delft clogs many moons ago Mags.

Here is the finished picture. I hope you like it.

Computer problems finally solved  after much mutterings, threats and crying on my part.

Now I am considering what to do for my next experiment. :thinks:

That turned out so good. It reminds me of some dishes my Grandparents had. It was a blue and white scene with a windmill, they came from Holland on one of the trips they took back there to visit his sisters.

The lighthouse turned out lovely!! The border does help it not look so flat! Just spices it up abit! Great work!
