Tools and thingies bingo

Post by agi »

Hi, everybody! I have thought long on the next topic. Here it is: tools and useful things we come across when stitching.
I have to admit, there are many on this list I have no clue how to use - but this will give us an opportunity to talk about them. So if you have any questions about the tools coming up in the game, please ask and those who know the things, please answer.

So, just for newbies' sake: choose any ten from this list, and pm your list to me.

I think I will start next Tuesday, that is the 19th August, to give enough time to those who may be away for the weekend. So enter until Tuesday morning, my time - that should be Monday night in America, and a bit earlier in Australia, right?

1. scissors
2. needle
3. needle threader
4. hoop
5. frame (for stitching)
6. stand
7. magnifying glass
8. daylight lamp

Great topic, Agi! Sorry I won't be able to join, but I'm not sure how much web access we'll have in the Netherlands as my mother isn't on the internet and we can't take the laptop this time as we're going in the little 1925 Austin (even the camping chairs are considered a luxury...)
Good luck to everyone who joins in!

No, no, not late until I start...
I was planning to cut up the words and draw the first three this afternoon, but had to go to the school for some books, have just got back. I will start it in the evening.
