:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: Love it, and I must say, I do like the way you left off some of the beads---this was such a fun one to stitch and I intend on doing at least one more variation soon. It's such an easy design to adapt to different color variations!!

I'd like to do at least one more, also. I'm thinking it would be really pretty in Christmas colors, and maybe some braid instead of beads. Oh oh oh - or over one, just the stitching. This is a design that could just go on forever with so many possibilities.

:applesauce: This is beautiful! :applesauce: I love the earthy colors. I miss autumn. We don't get a spring or an autumn here. I'm homesick now.

Thanks, Allyn. I love LOVE autumn. Spending most of my life in southern California, I had never experienced seasons until I moved to Colorado. Now I feel sad for those poor souls who don't get to know the four seasons. At least you had the seasons at one point, right?

Thanks - my first thought was Christmas, but then I keep thinking other things - it could be done in birthstone colors for birthday gifts or even for a new baby. It could be done in favorite team colors, seasonal colors, and even just one color. The possibilities really are endless.

Beautiful! The beading you did was wonderful! I'm almost inspired to try some beading now. Really scared of it, but this piece looks just so lovely!

I love your choice in which beads to add and which to keep off. You have a real artist's eye for this. This is a beautiful finish.

I picked up my Autumn Friendship Compass yesterday - Tammy at Hobby Lobby did an outstanding job, as usual. I had it double framed (like I did with Pumpkin Swirl), with the glass between the two frames.

I love the depth that the double framing gives. I would never have thought to do that, but it just looks so stunning I'll have to play around with the idea when I finally get to finish and frame my next finish.

Thank you for sharing. :D

:applesauce: :applesauce: Stunning. The frame is perfect. Have to remember double framing as an option. Absolutely beautiful (If it sounds like I'm gushing its because I am. Something about this one is very appealing!)

Thanks! I have to admit that I was almost gushing when she showed me the framed piece. :-)
