I especially like the Janlyn. Nice work. I have a Janlyn kit I too have been working on for several years. I figure by the time I finish it my tastes will have changed then come back around. I love your kitty!

Thank you, seedreemer !
Well, I guess it's better for me - I'm a cat person through and through so the JanLyn design will always be up-to-date with my taste :)

Awww, thank you! I hope the MP3 - files and the constant updating will speed this process. But the happy couple has deserved their present.

My mum used to stitch outside and let the ends of her threads fly way in the wind. I used to like to think the birds picked them up for their nests. Just think how colourful and soft they would be.
Lovely stitching.

Lovely stitching.
I love to stitch out on my patio and I sometimes "forget" to take the cut pieces of floss, hoping the birds will like them. :-)

Wow, I never actually thought about birds using floss ends for their nests. I like that idea, it sounds so inspiring and beautiful!
Maybe one day I too will have a cottage in the countryside and will "forget" floss pieces so that the birds can take them :)

I stitch outside too - but not now. Now I stitch inside. But sometimes, when it's summer, I go outside and stitch. I can't take my laptop with me, but I can take my cassette recorder. It's very small, but I just take a tape with me too and it keeps me company while I am stitching.

And here is my currrent project - a custom stitching based on a pattern from my Etsy shop. Usually I sell only patterns, but why not try something else once in a while? :)

I really love the little bird ornament. It's adorable. And it looks like you've made a great start on your new piece.
