Oh WOW I am so sorry, I know I was suppose to give you all some new clues yesterday. I have been side track the last few days. A very good friend got sick and ended up in he hospital and I have been helping his wife with their 3 dos so that she could be with him. It has really messed up my free time and I just completely missed the update for ya'll. He is back home know, so that is good.

I have had an app randomly pick 7 #"s and I will give you the first letter of each of those answers.
63 across the first letter is G
33 across the first letter is C
16 down the first letter is C
37 across the first letter is A
62 down the first letter is S
46 down the first letter is H

# 16 down and # 59 across are items that we make our stitching into. Something other then a framed finish or a pillow.

The clues for #'s 13, 21, 29, 31, 38, 57, all of those across and #'s 4, 12, 23, 39 all of those down, all of these are clues out of a Dictionary. They are not plagiarized but they are paraphrased.

#27 and 41 across and #5 and 14 and 52 and 56 down All of the clues relate to a member on this forum.

I think that is all I can give to you. I hope this will and I will have some finishes turned into me.

Thanks for the clues - it helped me get one more word and also showed me that one I had was incorrect. One step forward, one step back - I'm in the same place.

I am giving this an extension. Things got complicated when our friend ended up in the hospital. I am still helping with the dogs and trying to do all the other stuff I need to work, meals, my own dog, (who happens to hate one of the friends dogs) house, hubby. So I am going to move the finish date until March 31st. I will ask for all the puzzles a that time and then I will see who has the most correct and they will get the prize. Sorry this got postponed. I had no idea I was going to have this added complication with our friend.

Hello Puzzlers

I have finally got the chance to get back on the forum. Not sure if it was an April Fools thing but I could not log in yesterday. The Home page would pop up but it would not let me into any of the Groups. Oh well whatever.

Okay any of you that tried the puzzle please send me a PM and I will give you my email address. I will mark them and who ever has the most correct will get the prize I will announce it tomorrow in a new post. I will also give the answers to the puzzle.

Congrats Mags! and I didn't return my attempt since I didn't get that far along with it, but I am going to see how well I did (I have this awful habit of starting but not finishing cross word puzzles ). Thank you Rose!

I have had a response from Mags and will be sending her prize out this week. Need to find a proper container and then get to the Post Office. I asked if she would like me to post a picture of it now or wait until received she said since the postal service can be slower then a sloth I should post now while the topic is relevant.

I tried to find a fabric with violets on it to match the logo of the forum but after many visit to the local quilting shops, along with Joann's, Hobby Lobby and a search of several sites online I found that violets are not currently in vogue. So I choose a fabric that had purple flowers and made these up.


The tote is for holding your current project or for a travel bag. The wallet is for holding your threads (bobbins) and also has pockets for stitching supplies, things like a scissors, needles, boo-boo sticks, needle threader .......ect.
