I don't usually use hand dyed fabric for Hardanger - the thought of "wasting" the fabric by cutting it goes against my grain, but I really like how this one turned out!
Love the finishes, and you are right about the fabric you used for Mabel's March Circle. It just works so well!

:applesauce: :applesauce: Beautiful finishes!!! I think the fabric for the Hardanger works well, especially with the threads you chose.

Those are both very beautiful finishes. I love the choice in hand-dyed fabric. Thank you for sharing your pictures. :D

I thought I'd lost my stitchy bug for a few weeks - but it turned out that I was just stitching on the wrong type of projects! So instead of getting bogged down in blue on Cinderella's dress, I kitted up some smaller more fun (IMHO) charts from stash and these are the results:

A freebie from Hands Across the Sea Samples on 40ct linen with AVAS d'Alger:
Image

Spring Basket by Abi Gurden on 28ct linen with Dinky Dyes and HDFs silks and Caron cottons:

Natasha's Violets by Alchemy Stitchcraft on 28ct linen with a variety of fibres:

And finally The Mojo Sampler by Abi Gurden, a SAL from the Stitch Specialists Yahoo Group which has yet to be put on general sale from 2014, stitched on 28ct lugana with Dinky Dyes and HDF silks - in my favourite colour of course:

I've put Cinders to one side for now, but have picked up my Reflets de Soie sampler instead which I haven't touched since January! I have a few other projects kitted up and ready to go so as long as I keep my work varied, my stitchy bug will stick around hopefully  !

Thank you ladies  !

I've only stitched on one piece so far this month which has resulted in a surprise finish! I started Berthe Massiet on 1 January and haven't picked her up since the middle of January but I enjoyed working on her so much that I just kept going. Here she is stitched on 40ct 1 over 2 using the recommended AVAS d'Alger:

I loved working the pattern darning sections and can definitely see more darning samplers in my future!
