Kate Tribe

Post by agi »

I am member in a FB group about textile art. There is an artist called Kate Tribe who shows her work sometimes: incredible improvisational cross stitch work.
I was trying to share her work here but Google only gave me this one hit where there is a picture, too.

Maybe someone knows more?

I failed to even find the one example! And, like you, travelled around the tubes and couldn't pin anything down. Very frustrating. Perhaps our friend MrXStitch might have a contact?

Same here. And I was very interested in seeing what improvisational cross stitching would be.

I asked her. This is the answer:

"I don't have a website with them currently, but post them on instagram - @katetribe"

Go and check her out if you can, really worth it. She also said she might pop in here for a visit. :)

Found her on Instagram. Wow! Now that's colour! I suspect it's deceptive and looks simpler than it is.
How exciting! Hope she does drop by. We can have a party in the Stash & Grab... everyone likes the Stash & Grab... 8)
