Workshops for the Knitting & Stitching Show

Post by Mabel Figworthy »

It's only February, but they start preparing early - I've just sent in my workshop proposals for the Knitting & Stitching Show at Ally Pally in October  . I put in seven proposals, of which to teach no more than four; that should give them plenty of choice :-). It's always exciting to find out which ones they pick (and it's not always the ones I think they should have picked...)

What a fabulous choice. (I've done two of them already, so that would help my decision making, anyway!)

A hard task- to choose 4 out of 7 as each is beautiful. Personally I would choose all the 7. Very well done, Mabel

Teaching four is quite hard work enough as it is, thank you

But oh how hard it is to choose. A great collection of your gorgeous ideas and "yes" it will be interesting to see which 4 they choose. :D

It's a great idea to give them a choice Mabel, but they are all so beautiful I'm sure it won't be an easy decision!

Me Too!! :?

You've certainly put a great deal of thought into your choices...I'd be hard pushed to decide which ones!

I'd love to come to one, too. Don't suppose you ever do Harrogate, do you?

These are all lovely. I would find it difficult to choose too.

Serinde, no, just London, because I have a kind and accommodating sister-in-law there (and I just love walking in the London parks and cemeteries :-) ). Overnight accommodation would push my expenses up so much that it really wouldn't be worth it - K&S don't pay any expenses whatever (and you're not allowed to charge extra for expensive kits). It's a good thing I'm not trying to make a living out of it
