Sina's Crochet

Post by sina28 »

I started crocheting last year. I'm not too good at it, naturally, but I like to make a cute little Amigurumi once in a while.
Have made these three in the last two weeks. They do get finished a lot quicker than cross stitched pieces. :D

As I talked about elsewhere I'm now doing a little penguin for my best friend, in addition to that I'm maling myself a nice, large summer bag (but this one's going to take a while).

Thank you Wendy
They are considerably easy to do, much easier than say a waistcoat or any other type of clothing.
I think I also wouldn't have the patience to do such big and time-consuming projects.

Love them all, Sina, especially the snail. They are so cute! I can crochet blankets but never managed to crochet an Amigurumi.
Well done! :D :applesauce: :applesauce:

I should not say these are easier to make than a sweater or a cardigan. At least to me they are a Chinese grammar- being quite an experienced in knitting/crochetting, so far never had enough courage to try making toys. One has to be an artist and to have artist's imagination to make them, I am sure. Very well done, Sina! :applesauce:

Aww thank you all so much!
I'd like to say I could make these up by myself but I do need the patterns for them. It's when you sew the pieces together where one has to get a little more creative.

These are lovely Sina, very well done.

I do love the Bee though, it is a symbol of Manchester - the worker Bee.

Lately I've been crocheting much more than stitching. Let's see how long it will be until my stitching bug returns.
In the meantime, I've made a penguin and a mouse, and the little donkey is my next project. That photo is taken from the magazine "Simply Häkeln".
