Our forum is back!
Hi everyone
It has been a long time, but finally, we are back!
The forum was hacked, so we had to do a lot of repair work and upgrades to
the security of the site. It is now more secure than before, so (hopefully)
will not be so vulnerable in the future.
Thanks to everyone for being patient.
You will notice that the site looks different at the moment. We will change
the appearance as soon as possible.
The gallery was a weak spot, which could let hackers in, so this is
disabled for now. We will try to update it to a more secure version in the
future.

Re: Our forum is back!
Very good news. Glad to be back.
I notice the 'https' start to the address, slightly re-assuring as it indicates newer forum software is in use. Hopefully the gallery is the only current vulnerability.
Anyway, thanks for the efforts to get the software upgraded. I've been behind the scenes at another forum and seen the amount of admin work needed to upgrade the software. It can be absolutely phenomenal, especially as the board developers rarely try to maintain skin compatibility between versions. In the case of that board, 600k lines of code have to be checked and potentially modified to keep the main forum page alone working every software upgrade. Explains why they tend to skip every other upgrade.
Regards,
Richard
