If I were in Scotland, I would want to have lunch with Serinde too! Hopefully, one day I will make it across the big pond again. I loved my trip to the UK! And so much more to see.

And if you were in Scotland, we'd definitely have lunch! :D It was such a treat to see Agi again and to meet Stephen, too. Just hope they aren't getting too wet on the next leg of their journey!

Don’t worry, Serinde, I bought a waterproof jacket! Yesterday we had such luck. It rained during breakfast, during lunch, and while we were driving, but never when we were walking. And we saw a seal!! I fell in love with Bure. Today we are going to Loch Lomond.

:horn: :horn: There is a new addition to the SCSC (Special Crockery Smashing Court): a small but perfectly formed cannon. What my ES would describe, rather confusingly, as a gun. It comes complete with 16th-century gun carriage (don't stand behind it, please; recoil and all that would take you straight to St Cross Stitchers...perhaps literally, since the clinic door is behind you), ramrod, gunpowder (yes, we have been certificated, which is why it took so long to arrange), slow match, ear defenders (not 16th century), plus all the other necessary bits and pieces. Load her up (I've restocked the crockery, too) and light the slow match.

For those frustrating days when your crockery smashing needs to be a bit more, er, dynamic...

Just thought a bit of additional firepower might be needed. A few of our members might be needing a bit of oomph. Although Richard didn't require it, happily. When are you expecting your needles? (Did I mention I still haven't been paid?)

Anyway, it's fun.

Grrr at the not being paid - definitely have a go with the cannon!

Well, the young lady said she'd try to post it the day I rang (Monday), and as I didn't want to pay an extra £4.35 for next day delivery (on an order of about £16.35 with normal postage) I assume they'll turn up tomorrow :x:

Thanks for the Cannon Serinde :whoop:
I feel much better now
There was a bit of particularly ghastly pottery in that pile you left and I really enjoyed sending that into oblivion :whoop: :whoop: Most satisfying
Drinks of your choice set up in the S&G to make up for the tremendous noise I have created
And that special malt for Serinde to give her strength to tackle the NON-PAYER!!

I agree. Would getting some broken or cracked small stone statues to be targets be too aggressive? Sometimes having a target you can destroy is an effective way of dealing with frustration.
