re: Tinypics photo shutting down

I had an email telling me that Tinypics is shutting down. I've used this free photo posting facility for ages and it always worked well for me.

There are several other of these photo posting apps around and there was one here people were using
What do you recommend?....preferably free as Wombats are known to be miserly!!

I use PostImage and though basic it does what I want; the only thing I'd like to be able to do and can't, is to rearrange images after I've uploaded them (sometimes I would like to move things to a different folder, or create a new one and move older pics into it, and that seems to upset the links)

Same here. I couldn't move photos around in Photobucket either without upsetting links. Postimage is pretty easy to use. And free.

I saw that tinypics is going. Shame, but the model is such that if users don't click on the advertising bait, they don't make any money. Nothing is actually free in this world. I'll investigate PostImage, I guess.
