Thank You all for your kind words and encouragement. I did get quite a bit more done but there is an urgent call for more quilts so I have switched stitching for quilting stitches for a short while - at least until I get 2 quilts done at least. I mean the fabric is there waiting so I got 2 put together and pinned ready to settle down to quilting them today.:) Thankfully they are only cot size so that is not so bad as a full sized bed. :).

Making those quilts is a lovely thing to do, and may they bless you as much in the making as they bless others in the receiving - I hope it will be a lovely relaxing stitching time as well as a good work!

Bless you Sally for answering the call again.

It is so like you do that, will you show us the photos after you have made them?

Well I did get a reasonable bit of stitching done on the Wrendale until I realised how close Christmas is and not a card stitched. So The Diet starts Tomorrow, along with 2 quilts are laid aside until I get at least 3 or 4 card motifs done and the overseas Christmas mail on its way.
Sadly no photos yet as I can't work out how to download from the camera to the computer yet and SIL was 'on call' all weekend and quite busy so I didn't ask him for help. Maybe this coming weekend will be tutorial time :D

No promises as this computer is soooo different when it comes to downloading photos and then sending them somewhere else.

Hopefully here is an update on "Stuffy" the gift for my eldest son. I managed to get the quilts done, made 2 basic around home dresses and got my cards done and out. Right Fingers crossed.Image

I can see the first one (which is lovely!) but the code on the second one has gone a bit skewiff - nothing that can't be remedied I'm sure!

I can see the first photo and the link works for me too, strange things happen on PI sometimes.

Stuffy is gorgeous Sally, you are stitching him beautifully, this lovely one is not the easiest Wrendale with the colours being so similar. Your stitches are so neat and even. He can watch you happily now he has eyes.

:whoop: Very well done. :whoop:

:whoop: Stuffy is coming along beautifully :whoop:

It's lovely to see his whole face now, and oh those cheeks! Methinks he has already been at the Jammie Dodgers :D

You are stitching him beautifully Sally, very well done, him.
