Newborn cardi

Post by poppy »

My DD3 told me that her friend Katherine is expecting a baby. " She does not mind knitted baby things" she added! :)
I had to knit this little cardi. It is knitted from the top down, so no seams.
Thank you for looking.

What a beautiful adorable sweater for a lucky baby. I love it and what wonderful buttons to put on it. Brought a smile to my face!

Perfect...just perfect for a 'new-born' :applesauce: :applesauce:

I keep thinking about knitting from the top down...but after a lifetime of 'bottom-up' knitting I haven't yet plucked up the courage!

Helene, it is absolutely beautiful! And it was very thoughtful of you to make it without seams. :applesauce:

That is gorgeous -- and useful, too. Those panda buttons totally make it. :applesauce: :applesauce:

Oh I don't know how I missed this, Helene it's gorgeous.

It is so like you to knit such a lovely gift, how fabulous to have no seams, nothing to rub a little one.

The Panda buttons are a great touch.

Very well done Helene.
