I love palindromes.

We are having a bunch of guys over to watch the Super Bowl (in the dead of night, I'll have you know), so that'll count as a celebration! :whoop:

Wouldn't have figured that out. Thanks Wendy.
Serinde, enjoy the Super Bowl. I only watch halftime. Am thinking of recording it so I can fast forward through the game and watch the commercials, which are the best part. Opposite of the reason I often record other shows. Do you see our commercials or do they replace them with your own?

I hope that you have or will have a nap before kick off. Must start at about 11:30 pm in Scotland? Must be American expatriates (?) who are crazy enough to stay up all night to watch our football.

Yes, indeed. I must report that we don't have groundhogs. Our hedgehogs are all hibernating or should be, so perhaps they count? Haven't seen one. So presumably it'll continue raining until it stops. *sigh*

I don't take a nap, and only stay up for the first half and the show. No, we don't get your commercials (thank the lord, even though they can occasionally be elevated to an art form, it is true). I'm about to go into the kitchen to do the prep for the fajitas. Guys gotta eat, you know. and the Coors is in the fridge (no idea how that started...)

And I just noticed that it was the same for us as for those of you across the big pond. I often forget that we place month and date numbers differently. Wonder if anyone on the forum in 03/03/3030 will notice the same thing.
