I'm enjoying it as something different but I find it needs a bit more brain input than my other projects and one of the reasons I enjoy cross-stitch is that I can just follow a pattern without having to think too hard. There are also lots of layers with basic cross-stitches, backstitch, special stitches and beads so looking at the amount of fiddly work still to be done is sometimes overwhelming. I think it's worth the effort if there's a design that you really like.

Such a beautiful gentle scene and you are making great progress on it.

Floods seem to be happening on both sides of the world. The cyclonic rains have come with their attendant floods and dams are filling up, fires being brought under control if not extinguished and in between we swelter in the humidity. :)
