The Map is finished! All in all it took the whole August and half September. Today I have finished the BS on the letters at the top. Must confess that when I saw a stitched map on a video, I was close to giving up on this design. I thought it would take forever. Now, that I know how long exactly it takes, and while I remember the chart, so to speak(as well as I remember without looking which thread sits where in my work box), I am starting the twin project. By Son's birthday(21st Nov) it must be finished. Hopefully there will be no revolutions on the day(both Ukrainian revolutions- the 2004 Orange Revolution and the 2013 Revolution of Dignity- began exactly on his birthday- November 21, so now we all feel a relief when the date is behind. Not funny if you think of it). I have already had the threads delivered and the fabric cut off. Now wish me patience.

That's a splendid finish :applesauce: :applesauce: Good luck on its twin, and may the whole process be un-revolutionary!

To keep me sane, in between the work on the twin Map, am stitching an Easter towel for one good lady.

That jet propelled needle is at it again and doing very well. I love the bright pretty Towel which I am sure will be appreciated. An excellent start on the 2nd map too. :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:

Thank you, Ladies. 3 more corners to completion, Sally. As compared to the Map, it is nothing. I mean no back stitch at all. :D

The words say, "Christ is risen".
Thank you all for your kind support. To stitch 4 corners is the most difficult part of work as it is 4 times the same pattern. It is so annoying that the photo does not show the colours correctly. In reality the flowers look like apple blossom. The forget-me-nots are DMC 334. Here they look like DMC 414.
