A great buy, and I'm sure the tigers will be very grateful that they are going to be stitched properly :-) !

It’s a beautiful design and I admire your dedication in saving the fabric. I would have tossed it and bought new. Yeah, sometimes I’m just lazy. Were you able to save the floss from the unpicking?

I have put the unpicked floss in a small bag in with the kit. Normally Lanarte is generous with the quantity of thread they provide (or is it I don't use a lot in the way I choose to stitch :thinks: )

The second hand Lowery stand I tried bidding on has just sold for the same price as buying a new one  So back to decision time: wait for a another corner clamping second hand one or buy new :thinks:

A Christmas present which arrived at the weekend(after 2 months travels somewhere):

As Merejka is among my favourites, may some day stitch the whole series of its "Seasons" samplers(this one is "Summer". My friend says it associates with me somehow).

That is nice :) ,

I had not heard of Merejka before. I found their website and they do some lovely pieces. I will have to keep my eyes out for their kits.

That design does look just up your street. Lovely colours. Merejka does some lovely designs, and their business practice probably makes pirates very cross, which is a good thing.

That is so pretty Lyudmila. Such lovely colours.

I did some retail therapy on the weekend. (Seriously, doctor has referred me for therapy, but the wait list might be forever.) Anyway…on a brighter note….

The thread is for Zelda’s hair. I also had E746 for my SAL. The shirts were on sale so I bought them figuring I can use my Cricut to put something on them. And the beads are to make a dream catcher. They didn’t have feathers, so I’ve ordered some nice ones from Amazon.

I do hope the shirts will fit.

Here is what happens when a stitcher is not attentive enough and sees the mistake too late  :
Image
Had to buy a second kit in order to be able to start it all from the very beginning. But then even if I managed to correct(unpick and stitch anew) I would need extra threads which are available only in kits here(Madeira is nowhere on sale in this country).

That's what I call hand made beauty! Those pink flowers(aquilegia) are my favourite where it comes to botanical likes and dislikes, but in silk and glitter they look absolutely smashing. If I were you, Mabel, I would start with making them. Fantastic!

Lyudmila, for now I have so many things on the go and things waiting to be done that I won't get round to these any ime soon - but I will definitely enjoy just reading the book! And when I do find time to make one of the projects, I think it will be the butterfly  although all her flowers are also gorgeous.

That looks good... Another book I might need

Do you remember I acquired a kit for the "Day" lady, she has a companion "Night":

Image

And I managed to pick up a chart for her :D

To the left you can see I have been making some "height correcting accessories" for something I shouldn't have brought, but, but  I failed (again ). What is really frustrating is I ordered it days ago and VeryCrafty haven't sent it out yet :tantrum:

Lots of wonderful future stitching to watch come to life under everyones needles. :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:
Lyudmyla, how sad to have to redo that lovely chart but sometimes it is easier to start anew. Good luck with it. I do love your new gifted chart and look forward to seeing it grow under your needle and thread.
Roland Some very smart shirts etc.
Mabel , WOW I love the cover picture. I look forward to the fine work to come.

I've had a bit of a stash fest recently (see FoF) and this is my latest extravagance - having identified Danish flower thread (or Blomstergarn) as perfect for the paving in my canvas design, I fell for the complete set of 130 colours (which was an almost 25% saving on the individual price!) Isn't it a lovely array?
