Zelda is so bright and beautiful.

Great stitching.

Zelda looks fabulous. And the building is coming along nicely, although I still have no inkling of what it is. It's our own little forum mystery and I love it.

I’m guessing it’s a fandom nobody here (but me) is in to. There is one future room that someone might recognize though.

Zelda is looking beautiful and I look forward to seeing more of her. The mystery picture's latest 'bits' is still a mystery to me. :D

Yes. A green lion. And the other lion is on fire.

The only building that I know that has two lions at the front of the building as you enter is the Art Institute of Chicago. A wonderful art museum and educational institution. Growing up I probably had annual field trips there as well as visiting it whenever I could. I wouldn't think that is your building but I thought I ought to check it out. (Chicago fire and the "greening" of the Chicago River on St Patrick's day makes sense. As well as the snow mobile and the bullet hole in the wall courtesy of Chicago's gangland history)

That’s a well thought out guess Carole. But my building is not an Art Institute.

Didn't think so, but had to try. Now I'm really stumped.

Carole, at least you had a guess. I am still clueless.

Is there a prize for the first person to solve this mystery? @rotfl: @rotfl:

For some reason the hotel in The Shining came to mind  , what with the hole in the wall, the blood, the topiary lion and the snowmobile, can't remember what it's called though, * goes to have a google*

Is it the Overlook Hotel?

I've stayed at the Stanley Hotel, where Stephen King received his inspiration to write The Shining. I had never seen the movie until my friend and I stayed there, but it plays in every room on a continuous loop 24/7. I added my own narration to most of it and my friend said she will never be able to watch it the same again. (We might have had a couple cocktails before watching. :wine:  )

Hi, I just joined the forum and I have to agree with Garnet that I think it is the Overlook Hotel from the Shining.
I thought it might be it once I saw you posted the bloody elevators. Do you plan to stitch the creepy twin girls too?
Roland, is this an original design you made? I'm looking forward to seeing what scenes fill the other rooms. (but I will admit I am also a little afraid too)

You are doing a great job with this mysterious stitching! Your Zelda looks great too!

Fccs, that is neat that you stayed at the Stanley Hotel. I hope you were able to sleep ok with all the ghosts they have there.
