Progress is progress! And yours is lovely! And social distancing from snakes (especially if you are not positive what the snake is - and I mean 100%, not one of those "I think it is")is definitely the proper thing to do,

I’m going through my posts and trying to recover some of my images...it’s sometimes a win, sometimes a fail. Anyway, the story of my Cache la Poudre continues. I found more mistakes that really couldn’t be frogged (at least not with my level of patience), so I tossed it and will begin again (AGAIN!). I recently found a site that sells artwork in various forms, and I ordered Cache la Poudre as a metal print.

While I was perusing the website, I found they also offer a cropped version of the art.

I think what I’m going to do is crop the chart and stitch just this part. I think it’s the most beautiful and interesting part of the painting and it will look great.

The whole painting is beautiful (I'd never heard you could get art on metal - is it enamelled?) but that cropped version is just stunning; it's got real focus and will make such a beautiful embroidery!

I totally agree Debbie that the piece of it is the best part and will look fabulous under your needle and thread :whoop: :whoop:

Yes I agree too.
There's so much more detail in that section.

I took this one to Virginia with me and managed to get some stitches in. I have to say, I'm not always loving it because there's so much confetti and blended needles, but I do love the design.

:applesauce: :applesauce: So good to see this again. It is going to be beautiful and you've had a good start. Blended threads and confetti make it more challenging, but the result is worth it. Looking forward to watching this piece progress!

Well I thought I had posted a reply but it seems to have disappeared into the ether.

What a great start and what a great idea to crop the image to your favourite part.

I hope the blends and confetti don't cause you too much trouble.
