Here are a few pictures for you. Jacky and Isobel have been very hard at work while I've been in Lochinver. The new colours we were given really have broadened our outlook -- just wish we'd had them before!

Neither pic is as big as usual, but I think you'll get the idea.

Here's the entire panel as it stands at the moment:

And here is a closeup of the wig, wheels and bar:

:applesauce: :applesauce: I am amazed at what good progress ya'll are making and how beautiful this looks. The closeup is great as it shows the textures and depth of the stitching.

Me, too! :D Might have more updates for you all later today. Just got James back, and the lighthouse has appeared. I now need to finish the collar and get the jacket done, too. Could be a late night. :wip:

As promised, another look at the whole panel. Lots of outlining, and the pillars now have their feet, and James the majority of his collar. I'll try to get closeups when the panel comes back to me. (Jacky and I were stitching together yesterday, she at the top and I at the bottom. Very companionable!)

And here are a few more close-ups. First, the collar, of which I'm proud. Need to fill in some of the little gaps, but otherwise I'm quite pleased with it. Three colours, using closed herringbone and regular herringbone, with additional infilling, as alternate stripes.

Image

Then there's the Craigellachie bridge and Bell Rock lighthouse outlines. This will be completed with its name and a bit of blue water and perhaps some bits of seaweed (we have lots of greens!)

Image

And finally, the gas lamp, which will eventually have a light in it.
