Thank you for your comments. The new lamp has an actual plug for the iPhone and iPad right in its base. I had been using one of the mobile extension cords to keep the iPad plugged in when I'm using it as a chart. I had never seen one like this. If you click on the picture with Laverne standing up, you can see where I have one of the devices charging up. I think its a great added attraction. All the clip on lights and book lights and around the neck hanging magnifiers don't work that well for me. Okay for traveling, but not what I prefer at home.JA Fan wrote: The new lamp sounds fantastic. Does it have a power outlet actually on it then?
Makes me smile too, Richard. This is for my niece who has 2 cats and danced ballet all the way through High School. Good enough to play Clara in the Nutcracker one year. I hope to finish it before she has a little girl of her own and since the plan is for her to get married sometime in 2016 or 2017 I might manage it. (She doesn't know so if I'm a little late she won't know that either.richardandtracy wrote:This picture always makes me smile. I see a scene like that almost every week as one of our cats chases our eldest daughter's dressing gown tie. OK, said daughter is just a fraction under 6ft tall & doesn't ever wear a dress, but the idea's there!
Lovely work. Hope it takes less than another 2 years to finish (for your sake...!).
Regards,
Richard
