I really didn't mind organising the gifts or stashmas and had lots of fun doing it
you really dont' have to send out your original gift it was intended for you after all

Dawn the postmark is 13th Jan and I got it yesterday (19th ). However, the address on it was wrong, so that might be why it took nearly a week to get to me?

The reason I asked is because I was orginally told that the gift had been posted the just before christmas
But yeah the wrong address would explain why it took even longer.

I've never used 18 count before - would people suggest using 1 thread or 2?
I need to find something really special to stitch with the hand-dyed fabric and hand-dyed threads...! My head may explode with gratitude for the lovely nature of people on here.

2 threads I use..and I almost always use only 18ct

On 18ct I use 1 strand for a delicate finish, or 2 for better coverage and bolder colours.
