Those cyclamen are beautiful and I love the birds - and your neat stitching is just the crowning glory on a lovely design!

Thank you for your kind comments. They do matter.

Will show a photo later (when find someone to take it and load into my computer) of the cyclamens finished and some boxes of the twin-design stitched yesterday.

Very pretty. :applesauce: :applesauce:

After seeing the wreaths you have done which are beautiful I went ahead & bought Janlynn Autumn Sentiments. It is a horseshoe wreath of flowers with a verse inside it Had been deliberating but your wreaths are gorgeous so I went ahead & bought it. Don't know when I will start it though as I have quite a few kits to do :)

The tablerunner with two designs by Ellen Maurer-Stroh (The Bird Collector and The Box Collector) is finished. Have been stitching since 5am today not to drag it into the New Year, as I do have plenty of other things to stitch.

What have I done wrong if after posting the picture it never showed in new posts?

It showed up for me in new posts just now. Saw your previous post but there wasn't a picture then. Saw that in "active topics" When I clicked on this one I saw the the beautiful tablerunner photo. The detail is amazing. I love it.

Just thought if you just added the picture to your previous post through an edit, I don't think that changes the time of the post so it wouldn't necessarily be a new post, but would still be an active one. Does that make sense?

Thank you, Carole, of course, it makes sense. I should have guessed it would not behave as a new post. But then I am lucky I still remember my surname after all the craziness of the last week. Thank you for explanations.

Wow, Lyumila I am in awe of your beautiful stitching.

The tablerunnrer is so so beautiful, I really don't know how you manage to turn out such lovely pieces at the rate you do.

The flowers (and birds) are so realistic, one could almost smell their perfume.

It will be a wonderful surprise for your daughter to find that beautiful piece of stitching on her table on 1st January.

Thank you, Maureen. It was that case when people say that someone bit too much. I thought I would never finish it, so much work was involved. BS can be measured by kilometres. At some point I thought about your Brontes pictures- the latest WIP. You must be as patient as an angel if not more. I could BS 2 flowers at a time and was ready to give in. But boy, does it not make difference-all that BS!

WOW and WOW again it is totally amazing and certainly a work of art. Having done one of Ellen Maurer-Stroh designs not long ago I can imagine the mount of painstaking work this has taken, WELL DONE Lyudmylla. :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:

Lyumila you have stitched some lovely things in the past and this, I think, is the nicest table runner I have seen! :whoop:  :applesauce: :applesauce:  Well Done!

When I was in Scotland in October I saw a half finished table runner, on linen, in a charity shop. I wanted it so badly...but the shop was shut and wouldn't have re-opened until after we left Scotland!  No phone number to call either! I do hope it was bought by someone who would finish and love it!

Thank you for your kind comments. The runner is washed and soon will be ironed. I am finishing the seconf tablerunner also by EMS- with the basket of wild roses and corners with them.

Then there will be no excuses for not finishing the back stitch on "The Fisherman's Dream". Any volunteers to do it instead of me? BS is like winter- I hate it but it has to be gone through. :D

You have done a wonderful job on this table runner. Aren't the cyclamen leaves beautifully realised! This piece will be a joy to use.

And yes, BS is like winter, you are quite right. However, since no one seems to have much snow at the moment (and we are positively -- and worryingly -- balmy), you are free not to back stitch for a few days! :king:

If I lived nearer I would lend a hand, I don't actually mind backstitch, it was stitching the Spring Iris (my avatar picture) where I learned it is a necessary part of our lovely hobby, that piece had over 50 colours and 17 - yes 17 different backstitch colours often on the same trailing stems and leaves.

So backstitching my Bronte project is a breeze compared to that.

As I don't live near you Lyudmila I'm sending patience vibes instead. :)

Thank you, Ladies. I knew you would support me. Serinde, you made my day with the joke about winter.

Maureen, thank you very much for your being ready to rescue this lazy stitcher.
