On the second day of stashmas my true love gave to me 2 needle minders. And a hoop in a lowery stand.

for both efforts!!! Jo as usual comes through as the forum poet laureate and Megan I was impressed with your line for sure . I couldn't think of anything.
My poetry is often like that in the movie "The Private Eyes" with Tim Conway and Don Knotts. ( I think I have mentioned this one before. I think it is one of the funniest movies around and I know for a fact that 7 to 11 year olds can watch it over and over and over and.......and never stop giggling)

STASHMAS IS HERE

HAPPY STASHMAS EVERYONE. Can hardly wait to see what everyone has in their packages.

It is 7.15 am Sunday 1 Dec and I have just opened my beautiful, yummy, gorgeous package from Mabel. OH WOW.

First the beautiful paper with a story of the Dutch Christmas with St Nicholas reading his book of children's behaviour, Black Peter is also there as is the shoe/clog which the children put out and the carrot is for St Nic'shorse.

THE PRESENT



A gorgeous hand made card, just love the thread you used for the Snowflake Mabel and inside is all about the threads. 2 from Threadworkx (mauve) Oliver Twist a beautiful soft pink and 21st Yarns a variegated teal/seagreen.
Under it are 3 sample pieces of 28 ct fabric from Sparkles.

I am totally over whelmed with all this beauty in front of me as I type.

TO MABEL. "THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH FOR ALL THESE LOVELY GIFTS." I am going to have lots of fun playing with them. them all plus the paper and your beautiful card and such neat tiny hand writing. Oh boy. How does one come down from please.

It is 7.05 am here and I have just opened and photographed my gift from lizzieh.
Some beautiful hand dyed fabric, needles and needle holder and of course some yummy chocolate and a cupcake card.

Oooo lovely gifts ladies.....I'm especially jealous of the fabrics, but then again I have a 'problem' when it comes to fabbys

I probably won't get to open mine til tomorrow afternoon as we are doing a car boot for some extra Christmas money tomorrow and have to be there at 7am....so I will be in bed soon and setting off very early......but at least there will be a lovely reward for all the work tomorrow waiting for me when I get home

Jazzy bear posted mine on November 16 but with the mail doing what it has been doing of late I expect it to arrive next week.A package from the US that came last week took 28 days and one from Canada well over three weeks.
But I was gifted a Stashmas gift card from a very special board member with instructions to spend it on the 1st so I'm off to do some choosing.Thankyou dear friend.

So glad you have something to open this morning Marilyn - the mails are all over the place even internally.

I sent a box of stuff to the Sunshine Coast just recently and it took 5 days to get there - only take 2-3 hrs to drive from my place.

Enjoy your parcel when you get to it.

What lovely gifts you both received! I'm sure you will put them all to good use.

I still have 5 hours and 10 min to wait until midnight. Don't think I'll be awake in 5 hours though, so I guess it'll have to wait until morning.

lovely gifts all!! If I'm up at midnight I doubt that my present will stay unwrapped very long. If not, I will have to wait for morning. So I will probably be awake!
