I have not been very diligent about posting, but then again, I have not been very diligent about stitching either. Life has simply been getting in the way...

I had to put my work-in-process goals on hold to work on an anniversary gift and a baby gift. well, the anniversary is next week and I have barely started it, so I think that is going to be put off for another event. The baby gift, I have made very little progress on. Just having a hard time finding the motivation. The intention had been for it to be a gift for the baby shower, but it looks like baby is going to come before the shower can occur. Mom-to-be is already in the hospital and will be kept there until the baby arrives safely, so maybe that buys me a bit of time.

Progress to date on the baby gift, not much...

I DID IT!!!!!!!!!

I finally finished this project... It isn't a biggie, but it just seemed to drag on and on... I never wanted to pick it back up... All that is left is to iron it really well, probably spray it with a bit of water and then frame it...

I made some progress on my princess sleeps project last night.... I actually made a little bit more after I took the picture, and took it out of the hoop to be able to get to the pesky edges that were too close to the hoop or under it originally.... Maybe I'll be able to get it done tonight...

Project as of last night:

PS. for some reason, even when I shrink the source image, it is showing up huge on here for some reason...

That is really cute, and great stitching. And I personally like the "huge" image. :-)

I haven't posted on here in a while... I did finish the Princess Sleeps Here piece back around the middle of summer ... completed photo below. I ended up framing it in a really glittery pink frame, but somehow I didn't get a photo of it framed. I'll have to get one the next time I'm at my niece's house...

Image

I also framed the Home is piece that I shared the finish on the last post I made, so here it is framed, finally.

Then, I got back to work on a Mario project that has been sitting in my pile to get around to for what feels like forever as well. I had started it and gotten the first Mario stitched and then I hadn't done anything else on it, Ugh, so now I have made some decent progress... Below are 2 pictures for that one as of 7/27 I believe.

At that point, I put all stitching down for a bit while we had the usual chaos around home and just other things that kept coming up. I kept wanting to get back to the stitching and projects, but school was starting and soccer was starting and we were just seeming to always be on the run for a bit.

When I picked it back up, I was just frustrated with the aida and the way the background looked and decided I wanted to get on to another project that I was planning to work on evenweave so I put mario down and started on the ABC's of Christmas by Lizzie Kate. Of course, I didn't take any pictures until I had made some decent progress, but here is the progress as of about a week ago. I have been doing some of the touch up parts where there was just a few stitches here and there in the last few days and so the progress hasn't changed much.
