Oh wow, thank you guys so much! I ordered the 22 ct hardanger, I'm so excited! I have to wait for my order to be 'prepared' I guess before I officially pay for it? I ordered some special fabric from Picture this Plus for the Frosted Pumpkin SAL earlier this year, and they did the same kind of thing I believe. I'm SO excited, thank you guys again for this recommendation! I would have never found it on my own. And I'm so pleased it was on sale! Everywhere else I checked, for the cuts of fabric I needed in 28 ct, were $40 +. This came to $40, with shipping included. Now to work on buying the 731 skeins of floss I need 0_0 Come oooooon, 50% off entire purchase coupon/sales :whoop:

Golly! Just caught up with this, so first: welcome from the West of Scotland!

You obviously have turbo needles at your disposal, the speed with which you stitch. I only know one other who possesses such a thing, and it ain't me!

But don't leave your poor wolves languishing. Back stitch can be tiresome, but the results are well worth it. Lots of beautiful designs require it, so don't get yourself stuck in a corner!

And it sounds as if one of your next purchases might be a stand to hold the Q-snap... 8)

:applesauce: :applesauce: Fantastic update!! Serinde is right about those turbo needles and believe me I am not the other stitcher that she referred to. You are so close to the finish!
Keep an eye on the coupons for the big craft stores in your area if you are looking for one of those 50% off whole purchase (which usually has lots of exclusions but not DMC threads). I have found that A C Moore, which I think isn't in as many locations as Michael's or Joanne's or even Hobby Lobby, has more 40% off sales. And if by some strange chance you have a Walmart that carries stitching supplies including DMC threads and actually maintains their supply, you could get bargains on some of the threads you need though probably not all of them. Looking forward to your next project too!

That's some speed you've got there  - glad you found your whole-stitch project to distract you from the evil backstitch :-)

Wow what a wonderful project, its so therapeutically enjoyable to get stuck into a new hobby.
I'm an all or nothing person, there is no middle ground and I have to have several hobbies going at the same time
I love your work and can't wait to see more pictures.

Two picture updates. I'm working on Cruella DeVil now, and I'm actually farther along that the most recent picture shows (haven't taken a more recent picture yet). The vine is confetti central! And school is back in session for the semester, and with my two jobs, just haven't found much time to stitch. November 15 will be a year I've been stitching this piece! Hopefully I'll be super close to finished by the end of the year, if not completely finished.

I love seeing this one again, and you're making good progress on it. I hope you find time to stitch - school and two jobs makes it difficult. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this one - I love the design and you're doing such a beautiful job on it.
