Good to remember that verse on the Statue of Liberty -- and wonderfully presented. :applesauce:

The year in temperatures? That's so neat! Must see if I can figure out how to do that! Who designed it? (Of course Scotland wouldn't be nearly so colourful!!)

You are getting some beautiful framing for your beautiful stitching at Hobby Lobby. I love the Statue of Liberty especially. Did I ask you where you got the pattern?

I designed my temp chart. If you don’t have the wide range of temps that we have here in northern Colorado, you can go increments smaller than 10°.

And btw, let me just say how much I love this group and its members. I posted the Statue of Liberty on a Facebook group and was attacked for going political. Seriously!!?? I ended up deleting the post. Ugh.

My son and daughter-in-law bought it when they visited the Statue of Liberty last year.
It’s by The Posy Collection and they have tons of historical designs. I’m hoping to find more when I visit Mount Rushmore next month.

Thank you. I will call them today and order the statue and the poem. And maybe more. That will give me something to stitch while I'm in Rosey's room. I was amazed at the number of kits (breaking my rule about kits again) available. Might find a few more.

I picked up these four kits to commemorate my road trip.

Image

I finished Crazy Horse this morning. Since I’m planning to have them framed together, I changed it a bit by omitting the border and changing the wording font. Oh, and I changed the fabric - I will do all on 18 count ivory.

Image

I may or may not do the “never forget your dreams” quote. I might incorporate it in a “road trip” type heading, or I might not. TBD. :-)

That must have been a wonderful road trip and much to enjoy over the years to come too. The memories are all the more real in the wonderful little kits you have.
Crazy Horse looks great and once you have the others done it will tell you what to write on each one I am sure. Thank you for sharing your lovely memories and as always, fabulously stitched too.
