Thanks for all the encouragement again! Here is the last two days' progress - all the :poke: has made me zip along and finish the two flowers! Two more bits of leaf and then the cup and saucer to do :)

This is beautiful!!! I so want to do an afghan, but I have yet to learn how to make a neat back.

Can you explain how to do your back on an afghan?

This is my second afghan although the first only had small basic designs on it. For the back, I iron on backing fabric like vilene over each stitched square. I'll posted a photo of one when I've done it, along with the fringes :)

All that :poke: is definitely working! I completed the teacup last night, just the saucer to do now. I won't have much stitching time today, but I should be able to squeeze and hour or so in late evening, so I'll take a photo after that. The end is in sight though - the saucer looks like it has about 400 stitches in it and then just the backstitch to do!
