My mum's taking me to see it on Monday Serinde!

This is my last day at work and then I become a destitute student from the 26th Sept so I've got some time to go and visit things like this and maybe also the Mary Queen of Scots exhibit at the National Museum of Scotland....

I will keep a special eye out for your stitches!

I think this is a gorgeous and amazing piece of art that you have been involved in. I just watched the newscast that you had a link to and read the article. Amazing. What do you think Matilda of Flanders would think if she could see this tapestry? And your "doodles" are on exhibit too! Congratulations again and to all your co-stitchers!

Congratulations on a wonderful finish. As descendants of James Watt my family have been watching your progress with great interest. Thanks for the details on the book, I'll have my son order it and put it in with our genealogy papers as I'm sure it will be of interest to those who follow us.

Rats, I missed all that by not being around! Congratulations on the book and all the media coverage -- well-deserved because it is an incredible piece of work! It was so disappointing to be in Scotland for the very first time this year but just to early to see the exhibition

Well, if you'd like to see James Watt in all his glory, here's the place to go. And you can also spend lots of time scrolling through all the other panels. The unfortunate part about any photograph is that you can't really see the detail, but you get the idea.

Anyone living around Cheltenham, however, is able to see 40 of the panels at the Cheltenham Literature Festival, 4-13 October.

I wish I could be in Cheltenham...but my friend lives nearby so I'll tell her!

Thanks for the link, Serinde! :D

I'm going to enjoy browsing all those photos -- but how I wish I could see them in real life and see all the detail and texture! *wonders where exactly Cheltenham is*

Thank you for the link. I also wish I could see them in real life and close up so I could see the stitches in detail. Still, it is great to see all the panels. And once again, I need someone to invent that transporter that would make long distance travel easy and inexpensive (no point if it costs a lot)
