Yikes! I am so late to this thread

Dear Stashmas sender,

I do not have a huge stash, in fact, I don't have one at all besides my threads so shopping for me will probably take you 30 seconds. You can close your eyes and point at the wall. Chances are, I won't have what you point at LOL

Having said that, I am a DMC girl. I don't have a huge collection, probably 100 colors or so but I can always use doubles of those ones. I do have a few blending filiments on my wishlist too. They are Kreinik #002 006 027 and 033. I prefer stitching on Aida 14 or 16 count but I think I would like to try smaller sizes. I have never used linen but it does interest me. I do not have any fabric in my stash.

As for designs, I  Noah's Ark. Also animals like giraffes and elephants. I also like nature scenes as well as chinese art such as Geishas or symbols. I'm not a fan of HAED type designs or cartoony designs.

I can always use more plastic bobbins or charts. I do like working with kits as well. I hope that this helps you out and I can't wait to see what I am lucky enough to get.

Zeb I swear I didn't mean to copy yours, but you have written pretty much the same as I was planning to write!

Dear Stashmas Sender,
Thankyou so much for reading this and thinking about what to send to me.

I am not into cutesy/homesy designs like All Our Yesterdays or anything with bears, angels, fairies etc.

I am into jewel like colours predominantly reds, greens, blues, purples, silvers and golds, and prefer smaller designs to bigger ones.

I'm quite keen on building my buttons and beads collection as I am getting more into biscornus and other finishing styles. Also specialty threads like Gentle Arts Sampler, Crescent Colours and Caron Waterlilies are VERY expensive in New Zealand, so would love those. I am a DMC girl, and am beginning to experiment with variegated threads

I am terrible at buying charts and then never having the fabric to start stitching! I'm a fan of evenweaves and linens...preferably 28-32 count. Any colour is great by me!

My favourite designers include: Lizzie Kate, Bent Creek, Barbara Ana, Little House Needleworks, The Trilogy, and Margaret Sherry. I am beginning to become interested in Just Nan as well!

I love zombies, Japan, cooking, Christmas and teapots!

Hopefully that will give you enough to choose from!

Thanks again!

Edit: To give an idea, here's my wishlist from 123stitch to show the style I like! http://www.123stitch.com/cgi-perl/cart/wish_list.pl My email for it is Stareagle3 (at) hotmail (dot) com

Dear Stashmas sender,
To be honest I am too new to have a large preference, I am a DMC and plastic bobbins girl. I love to have my stash really organized. I think it would be neat to stitch some coasters or some key chains.
Really any little thing you have found as useful or a must have item would be fine with me, I will appreciate anything!
I grid, as of now I use the round hoops haven't found anything that I like better. I love sparkles, daises, butterflies. I perfer Aida
you are the best
maemae

My poor hubby hates shopping for me he says I never tell him what I want, that I make him guess what I want, and its not that I just really am not that picky.

Dear Stashmas Sender,

I use DMC threads and Im currently building up a collection of them this includes the light effects, variations, satin etc..... Although I have a couple of skiens of Dragon Floss and I love it :)
I can always use fabric I have lots of 14ct aida but no patterned fabric and a small amount of evenweave and no linen.

As for designs I love Halloween ones, here in the uk designs seem to be limited to small motifs and Id love to find medium to large ones. I also like gothic, unicorns, discworld, fantasy and that kind of thing.

But Id be over the moon with anything my stashmas sender chooses to send me. For me the thing Im looking forward to the most with my 1st Stashmas is the suprise package of stash!

Happy Stashmas

Dear Stashmas Sender

Thank you for reading this and thinking about what to send to me.

This is going to be very difficult to give you an idea of what I would like as I have been collecting cross stitch material, DMC threads and patterns for well over 25 years. I have sat writing and deleting for the past 30 minutes and I am still having difficulty in putting something down. But hopefully what I have written below will help.

:thinks: :thinks: :thinks: :thinks: :thinks:
Please no kits, cutsey, fantesy or animal items.
I like flowers and landscapes, I am trying specialist threads so anything here would be welcome (but not those done by DMC), material (not the standered aida or the usual cream/white).

I hope this helps but really what ever I get will be warmly welcomed and much appreciated.

Thank you so much

Dear Stashmas Sender,

I am excited to be part of this exchange!

I work with DMC thread. I am no where near a full set of threads and would be whatever you send me.

I tend to work with aida, as I am intimidated by linen. I am willing to try linen, though.

I prefer small kits or designs, like bookmarks and the like.

I like fairies, Egyptian designs, owls, peacocks, swans, flowers and fantasy designs. I am not so hot on religious designs, Disney or All Our Yesterdays.

I do appreciate the time and care you put into being my partner :) Thank you.

Kim

Dear Stashmas sender,
I am a young mother and vintage things addict girl. I love rose, pink, fuchsia, red and Hello Kitty. I think it would be neat to stitch something that you are comfortable to do no matter what in any fabric.I prefer stitching on any Aida. I have never used linen. I don´t want you stressed if you are stitching for fun or thinking about your budget, etc.
I will appreciate your creativity because I love to be surprised...:-)
I used to combine arts like Cross Stitch and Crochet, Scrap booking...or Sewing.

Thanks in advance.
Have a nice stitches :D

Dear Stashmas Sender,

I like working on 25 or higher count linen or evenweave. I've never tried overdyed fabric, but would love to give it a try. I do enjoy working with different types of threads; metallics, silks, overdyed. I recently found a love of Christmas and Halloween ornaments and would like to expand my collection. I also like fantasy patterns, especially dragons.

Thank you, and Happy Stashmas!

Dear Stashmas Sender,
I very much like samplers. Lavender and Lace is nice, but really I like anything. I've been looking at the Bent Creek alphabet samplers, lately. They are lovely. I especially like the owl branch samplers I recently found.
I am all about owls. Not serious in nature owls, but whimsical and fun owls. I also love anything Victorian and I like holiday stitching as well. I enjoy working on any fabric of any count and haven't ever worked on hand-dyed fabric before.
I would also love to try a needle minder. I am forever loosing my needles in the arm of my big chair...not so great with 3 kids and a cat running around.
Most of all, stashmas sender, I'm not really picky. I like most anything but Disney and real to life animal charts. I'm just super excited to have a brief secret "cross stitch pen pal" for the holidays.
Thanks Stashmas Sender and Happy Holidays!

:snowman: Dear Stashmas sender,

I luv needle work cross stitch, hardanger, canvas work all sorts.
I prefer evenweave to aida and have recently used one or two pieces of hand dyed evenweaves, which I loved! I do not do many small pieces mostly middle sized or large.

I have all of the anchor and DMC stranded cottons and am now trying different things like silks.

I also like kits or charts and love cats large or small. I use needles size 26 or 28 but already have lots of bobbins.

I am really very easily pleased and am very excited about stashmas :D

Many Thanks
Kerry

Dear Stashmas sender

I am really looking forward to this.

I am really really into fantasy designs especially dragons, fairies, mermaids and of course unicorns. I also like big cats especially tigers.

I am not into cutesy, bears, birds or floral themes.

I mainly work on Aida but would love to try new things like Hand dyed fabric, silk threads etc.

I also love gold needles and a girl can't have enough needles.

Anything would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
