I got distracted by other projects, but I finished up the front stitching of mine now! I have to design a back and then sew it up! I have to get it out the door before Nov 15 because I'll be leaving on vacation.

I just found the perfect pattern so I will be starting it hopefully tomorrow I had a commission that seemed to take forever to do (nothing went the right way this time lol) All done and out the door though.

Now focus time on my Christmas stuff, I really want to do a majority of handmade gifts this year for the people I know who will appreciate them

Please tell me I'm not the only one who has not mailed out the ornament yet. The stitching has been done for awhile, but the finishing...not so much. I'm hoping to get it out by the end of next week.

I havent mailed yet, Im hoping to send it out monday, get it all finished this weekend.

My stitching has been finished for a few days. I had to seek the counsel of a better finisher than me. We met last night and she gave me her best advice. I just have to have time to get it done. I have company all weekend, but think I can finish by midweek next week. It will go in the mail right after as I will be traveling for work again the week after. Really looking forward to seeing what everyone has done this year.

my camera flash is a bit too bright lol. the fabric is actually a cream not white. its backed with a fabric that matches it perfectly. I cant wait to get a tree up so I can hang it, it will look so pretty in the lights!

I sent mine out this morning!

I have the stitching done on my ornament but the finishing just doesn't seem to be working out the way I wanted it to. GRRRR. And this was stitched with a specific finish in mind! I may just bail on the whole thing and find something else to stitch entirely if I don't manage to get the effect I'm after soon!
