This is lovely to watch unfold. Your stitching is very neat & I love the colour. Sorry you had to undo some but it will be great when finished. :applesauce:

Darned :ribbit: maybe it is time for a frog let fry up? A lovely update though, this design is just so elegant and beautiful.

Me thinks it is time I went back to bed = I was trying to get the ? mark to work and was holding down the caps lock instead of "shift"
The 3am wake up yesterday morning to g et the family on the road to the airport at the right time is catching up with me - again

I'm so sorry to hear about your visit from the frog. With that said, this piece is coming along beautifully. Thank you for sharing your update.

Would you believe that I used the wrong thread (really, Carole? There are only THREE colors to pick from. Dark, medium and light!  How hard can it be to decipher one of three symbols? ) so had to :ribbit: . Actually it wasn't too bad and I managed to save the thread which is good because I hate wasting silk thread. And I do love stitching with the silk. If I win the lottery (if I played the lottery) I might only stitch with silk. Anyway, a blurry close up of what I did this week-end:

And what I have done so far

The lighter color is Hydrangea and the variegated shading is very subtle, which I love.

My nephew is visiting next week-end and my niece and boyfriend (who live about 100 miles from me) will drive down for a day so no work on this one next week-end. Which works since I think one week-end a month will have to be spent on Mabel's SAL. I think I have decided on the colors. Maybe.

Thanks for looking.

The colors of this piece are so beautiful. I'm sorry you had some frogging to do, but I'm glad you caught it early.

It is looking really amazing Carole and the colours blend in so well together. I agree that stitching with silk is so lovely. :D A great update in spite of the hiccup

Got some done this week-end! Couldn't last week-end because my nephew visited and though I knew he wouldn't say anything to his sister, didn't want to give him a chance to mistakenly say anything.
The variegation in the two lighter threads is very subtle but if you enlarge the photo you can see it. I love stitching with these threads. I know I'm repeating myself, but I just can't help it.

Back to "O Kitten Tree". Trying to get another page finished before I post it. It was harder to get a lot done over the holidays than I thought it would be.
